Meet the Team

I am a firm believer in seeking out opportunities to give back to my community. Engaging in acts of generosity not only connects me with my neighbours but also provides a chance for those in desperate circumstances to start anew.

I find immense satisfaction in knowing that everyone deserves a decent life, and sometimes, all it takes to uplift the less fortunate is a helping hand.

The pandemic hit and everything changed. I, as did most of us, wanted to help essential services continue. My small part was, as a Royal Voluntary Service volunteer, transporting ill people to and from hospitals for scans and radiotherapy, and their doctor’s surgeries for more routine tests and check-ups.

Volunteering made me, and so many others, feel good about ourselves.

Looking to do more, it was clear that there weren’t any engaging, professional apps connecting willing volunteers to a broad range of charities who could harness their talent to support deserving causes and make the world a better place.

For me, this was the spark from which Giving is Human was born.
